When I was first starting out, I was doing customer service for a food distributor over the phone. Every time I upsold an item or convinced a customer to buy something they hadn't intended to buy, I later realized that what I was really doing was marketing.

After my career in customer service, I became an executive assistant. I was lucky enough to have a boss who would push me to take on more than I ever thought I was capable of. He believed in me and letting him down was not an option. Attention to detail was important if I was going to keep this role, something that would be incredibly helpful later when I moved into social media marketing.

Over the years I helped out with marketing in various ways. When a marketing position opened up, I was given the chance to fill it. Knowing that I wanted to do a great job, I immersed myself in marketing classes and certifications, reading everything I could get my hands on and talking with smart people in the industry.

Today, I help multiple companies gain control over their social media presence, and that's how Digi_T Marketing LLC was born. However, the rich history with my mentors along the way has made me unstoppable tomorrow!

Social media is an incredible tool for businesses, but it can be difficult to stay organized and consistent. Here are a few tips on how to stay on top of your social media presence:

Just make sure that you're not posting too far in advance or at inconvenient times—you should always put yourself in your audience's shoes when scheduling posts and consider when they'll see them!

3. Engage with other users by liking posts, commenting, and sharing content from other accounts that relate to yours (but don't spam). This helps build relationships with people who are interested in what you do, which means they'll be more likely to follow.

As you know, it's crucial to create and stick to a social media plan. However, creativity doesn't always come on command, and there will be times when you can't think of anything to post.

Here are a few ideas that can help get you unstuck:

-Look at your website analytics for the most-visited pages.

-Create a poll asking what your followers want to see/hear about.

-Ask your co-workers or friends for ideas.

-Look at your competitors' accounts.

It's also important to remember that hiring a professional social media manager is not only an investment in the future of your company—it'll also save you the headache of coming up with new content all the time!
